Moving from eMailTrackerPro to InboxGuardian

It's possible to import your whitelists, blacklists and email accounts from eMailTrackerPro to InboxGuardian, this will save a lot of time when setting up InboxGuardian.

The following steps should get you up and running with InboxGuardian.

Step 1: Locate your eMailTrackerPro .sav files

These files can be found in your Users (or Documents and Settings in Win XP) folder. The exact directory is:

C:\Users\**YOUR USER NAME**\eMailTrackerPro\V8

In this folder you will find numerous files that end with ".sav".

Step 2: Move files to InboxGuardian

If you haven't already installed InboxGuardian then do so, but don't run the program yet.

Locate the InboxGuardian version of the directory in step 1. The directory is:

C:\Users\**YOUR USER NAME**\InboxGuardian\V8

You need to copy all the ".sav" files from the eMailTrackerPro directory to the InboxGuardian directory.

Step 3: Start InboxGuardian and verify account details

Now you have moved the .sav files to the InboxGuardian directory it's time to start InboxGuardian. You may get a "We detected eMailTrackerPro" style message, just click Continue if this dialog appears.

Now you should see a dialog box similar to the one below. The "Import accounts" window should show all the accounts that you had in your copy of eMailTrackerPro with password fields already entered.

Simply check the account(s) you want to add and click continue.

InboxGuardian will then continue through the account wizard.
